Our Story_
Brand bold ideas. Make good stuff.
Inspire your world_
In a world bombarded with a zillion marketing messages per second, it’s harder than ever for brands to cut through the noise and make a difference. A pretty logo and a slick tag line won’t do the trick any more.
Enter brand storytelling. The art of winning friends and keeping them!
That’s why our team of artists, designers, and storytellers helps founders, marketers, and retailers craft powerful brand stories and share them with the world.
Because a great brand story can help you vibe with your tribe, build trust, inspire action, and shape the future, one story at a time.
Our Story_
We started off as a strategy consulting firm, providing advice to retail brands on market entry and location strategies. The pandemic that ensued, threw the world into chaos. Shops closed. The game changed. High streets and shopping malls were deserted. With people locked in, the transition to digital was inevitable. The conversation shifted online. That year (2020) saw the greatest increase in digital services and e-commerce. For brands and businesses, the choice was not easy: “Go digital or die!”
The other major shift in consumer behaviour was toward sustainable, ethical, and conscious consumerism. Retail brands had to consider their environmental and social impact in addition to their business strategies.
Not easy, right?
We sensed the opportunity and saw the need. We evolved into a transformational agency and decided to focus on what matters most: your brand!

Brand Strategist
Anand Shanker
Anand is your man-Friday kinda guy. He’s worked on strategy, branding, events, and direct marketing for a host of well-known national and international brands and retailers. Mothercare, Arrow, and Foodworld, to name a few. Before striking out on his own, he led the national retail operations team at Weekender & Weekender Kids, one of India’s first fashion chains. He’s also actively involved in the promotion of water sports and has organized several national-ranking rowing, kayaking, canoeing, dragon boat and sailing championships and regattas. During his spare time, he’s learning to play the bansuri (in stealth mode), but a neighbour spilled the tea and called the cops on him for making a racket. Brutal.

Our Logo_

- Sujata Mukerjee, Managing Trustee, ACT
“An NGO like ours works primarily on behaviour change, and in order to do so and reach a large audience, you must first strike a chord with that audience. You must have insight and then expand from there. 30 Cents Consulting was invaluable in developing that story and brand for our projects, EcoGram and Namma Jalamarga. We were particularly pleased with the design process and the creation of the identities. We will always return to 30 Cents Consulting for future projects.”
- Myriam Shankar, Managing Trustee, Anonymous Indian Trust
“30 Cents Consulting had conducted a series of workshops for the design fraternity at Myntra. These workshops covered a variety of topics related to creative design thinking and how to integrate a consumer-led approach into design work. One of the workshops, in particular, was solely focused on understanding the data and how to use it for design advantage. This was done using real data around a built case and a real time solution practice session was conducted. At the end of it, the team was able to appreciate the process of consuming the data and provide the best insights.”
- Nihal Rajan, SVP, House of Brands, Myntra
“The customised design training provided by 30 Cents Consulting was really beneficial to our designers. A holistic training programme was created by tailoring design sessions to the designers' development areas and industry-specific needs. It helped our designers in producing high-quality design output that exceeded the client's expectations.”
- Srinivas Ejju, Group Operations Lead, JLL Business Services
"It was a pleasure working with Priyanktha and her team of designers on a video that was used to launch two of our smartphone apps. The entire project was broken up into well-defined stages with clear deliverables. The designers took the time to understand the product as well as the target audience and then came up with design options that were best suited for these apps. What helped in enhancing the experience working with the team is that they were patient listeners and incorporated feedback well. The result was a professionally done video that we could then proudly send out to our clients and prospects. A big THANKS to the 30cents Team!"
